Manufacturing Technical Working Group (MTWG)
The Manufacturing Technical Working Group (MTWG) on Tourism-Manufacturing Linkages is composed on committed members from the main private and public sector entities that are vital to the linkages thrust. The MTWG will also work closely with the Linkages Network to continuously identify and address specific issues that may emerge, and in turn aid in minimizing the Network’s efficiency and effectiveness in strengthening tourism linkages with the domestic economy.
The main functions of the MTWG are:
Identifying and tackling major obstacles to strengthening tourism linkages
Identifying appropriate strategies to effectively bring buyers and sellers together
Addressing issues affecting trade as they arise
Supporting effective distribution and marketing of goods and services
Supporting initiatives to improve capacity and competitiveness of suppliers
Ensuring effective information and communication systems
