Agriculture Technical Working Group (ATWG)

The Agriculture Technical Working Group (ATWG) on Tourism-Agriculture Linkages comprises dedicated personnel from the main private and public sector entities that are integral to the linkages thrust. The ATWG will work closely with the Linkages Network to continuously identify and address specific issues that may emerge from time to time and will thereby help to maximize the Network’s efficiency and effectiveness in strengthening tourism linkages with the domestic economy.
The main functions of the ATWG are:
Identifying and tackling major obstacles to strengthening tourism linkages
Identifying appropriate strategies to effectively bring buyers and sellers together
Addressing issues affecting trade (such as shortages) as they arise
Supporting initiatives to improve capacity and competitiveness of suppliers
Ensuring effective information and communication systems
