Mixologist

Candidates in the programme for mixologist learn to craft, create and mix alcoholic drinks that push the boundary of flavour and experience for customers. They must be practicing Bartenders. Some consider mixology an art form, and there are responsibilities that make being a mixologist more than a standard bartender.

The training ensures that Mixologists come to care about the guest experience and have a
deep knowledge of cocktail ingredients and premium spirits, liquors, cordials and bitters.

They are taught how to make simple syrups and blend other ingredients, and enjoy
experimenting with techniques and flavours to design memorable cocktails, often creating
seasonal menus or signature drinks specific to an event.

The course is five days or forty hours in length ends with a practical and written
examinations.
