The HTM curriculum is industry driven as evidenced by the fact that more than 60 industry leaders served as subject matter experts, ensuring that today’s programme matches the needs of hospitality employers across the world.
The HTM is a one or two year programme being implemented in high schools in association
with the Ministry of Education & Youth (ME&Y). These students will be introduced to a
number of hospitality activities to include Hotel Operations, Event Planning, Travel &
Tourism among others. Further students will complete a four-week internship programme as
well as written examinations. At the end of this programme successful candidates will be
ready to make the transition from high school, to work, and will indeed have met and worked
for a potential employer.
