Position Summary:
The Experience Guide – My Own Rum facilitates blending sessions where guests create and bottle their own unique rum. This role requires precision, hospitality, and a passion for instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
➢ Guide guests step-by-step in rum blending and bottling.
➢ Ensure safe and correct use of blending tools, funnels, and bottles.
➢ Personalise the experience with heritage stories and blending tips.
➢ Maintain an orderly, clean, and professional workspace.
➢ Record guest preferences and upsell premium marques.
Qualifications & Skills:
➢ Previous spirits, blending, or hospitality training is an asset.
➢ Detail-oriented and patient with hands-on activities.
➢ Strong communication and guest engagement skills.
Physical / Work Requirements:
➢ Lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
➢ Extended periods of standing.
➢ Work afternoons and weekends.
