Position Summary:
The Steward maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and stock across RumCask. They ensure the operation runs smoothly by keeping glassware, utensils, and back-of-house areas organised.
Key Responsibilities:
➢ Operate dishwashing and glasswashing equipment.
➢ Sanitise glassware, tools, and equipment.
➢ Maintain BOH cleanliness and waste management.
➢ Assist Barback with stock and equipment movement.
➢ Follow all health and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
➢ Entry-level role; training provided.
➢ Attention to detail and reliability.
➢ Basic understanding of sanitation practices preferred.
Physical / Work Requirements:
➢ Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
➢ Work in hot, wet, and fast-paced conditions.
➢ Flexible schedule, including weekends.
